What is Nationally Recognised Training?
AST together with its courses are nationally accredited through the Australian Quality Training Framework (AQTF).
This has many benefits to students including:
Nationally Recognised Training provides a standard against which courses and RTO’s can be assessed
It assures the student that the course is of an appropriate standard
It assures the student that the educational techniques and principles of the school are sound.
It promotes the recognition of courses between institutions and in the case of private education providers, ensures that they meet
government guidelines for courses.
It ensures for Natural Therapists that they are studying a course which is recognised and is likely to carry some weight with both government
and professional bodies which presently register and regulate practitioners
As accreditation is an ongoing activity it assures the student
that the high standards of the accredited college will be maintained.
What if I decide I don’t want to finish a full qualification?
If, for example, you enroll in a Diploma of Beauty Therapy and decide you do not wish to finish, you have 3 options.
#1. You may defer your studies and complete your qualification at a later date.
#2. Once you have reached Certificate level you may be issued with the relevant certification
#3. You will be issued with a Statement of Attainment for the units of competence you have successfully completed.
