The Academy of Safe Therapies (AST) was established on the Gold Coast in 2000 in response to a demand from people just like you for affordable and quality education. AST has become a Gold Coast leader in providing Australians with world class training in beauty therapy, massage therapy and natural therapies.

Our small classes and award winning teachers ensure you are getting the very best education value for your hard earned money; AST was the first Gold Coast beauty school to include Microdermabrasion, hot stone therapy, Brazilian waxing and spray tanning in our in beauty therapy course at no extra cost to you.

AST trained beauty therapists and massage therapists are job ready. You complete your practical work in our real life supervised student clinic not in an external salon where your skills and abilities are refined to make sure you are able and confident to start work.

Located in Miami on the Gold Coast, AST is close to coffee shops, supermarkets, banks and you have loads of lunch options. The school has off street car parking at the rear of the building and is on the main bus route.

AST offers nationally recognised training in Beauty Therapy and Massage Therapy by both on-campus and distance education courses for those who live in regional Australia and are to far away to attend the school.

Our nationally recognised training in Naturopathy, Nutrition, Herbal Medicine and Homoeopathy is delivered via distance education study.
