SIB20110 Certificate II in Retail Makeup & Skin Care

This nationally recognised course is designed for those people who wish start their career in the beauty industry by working in the makeup and skin care industry. This course combines the foundation practical skills, theoretical knowledge and hands on experience in a key range of subjects required for graduates to work under supervision. This course requires students to successfully complete 20 units of competence, comprising 9 core units and 11 elective units. Units from this course are credited towards articulation to a Certificate IV in Beauty Therapy or Diploma of Beauty Therapy This course requires students to successfully complete 15 units of competence, comprising 10 core units and 5 elective units. Some units from this course are credited towards articulation to a Certificate III in Beauty Services, Certificate IV in Beauty Therapy or Diploma of Beauty Therapy

Sales consultant or merchandiser for a skin care or cosmetic product house, chemist or department store.
Own makeup business
Articulation to a Certificate III in Beauty services, Certificate IV in Beauty Therapy and receive credits towards the Diploma of Beauty Therapy.

1 day per week over 6-12 months.
Students in grade 10, 11 or 12 may complete this course as part of the VET in schools program

On campus: Part time study: 1 day over 6 - 12months. Timetables will be issued to students prior to commencement of study.

Payment plans are available to all eligible students. Fee structure is as follows.
$950.00 application fee
$315.00 deposit prior to course commencement (15% of course cost)
Balance of $835.00 paid off weekly over term of scheduled study
Total fees $2100.00
Students may also pay fees in advance and may be eligible for discount.
The application fee is deducted from the course fees and is to secure a place in the course and must be paid when Application and Enrolment Forms are submitted.
